I use face paints are water based and easily come off with water (not like the ones I use on my own face). They are comply with the EU and FDA for cosmetics. I follow all safety precautions (don't use red or yellow around the eye area, don't paint or use glitter around the eye area). I use brushes and sponges that are made for face painting and I clean them thoroughly after every performance. I do anything from a full face designs (a design that covers all or most of the face) to cheek designs (anything like a heart or rainbow on a cheek). If a child doesn't want something on their face, I can do a little design on their hand. Sometimes, even adults get something on their face.
